• Rotational dining: Disney seats guests at shared tables and rotates you through restaurants with the same servers and tablemates all week — ask for a larger shared table and you have built-in dinner company every night
• Adult-exclusive districts: every ship has one, and they’re the easiest place to strike up a conversation
• Trivia & Games: Deck competitions, wine tastings, and game shows attract friendly groups
• Fitness & Wellness: Group yoga, fitness classes, and wellness seminars
• Entertainment: Shows, dancing, and themed events happen every night
• Shore Excursions: Group tours are perfect for meeting adventure-minded travelers

Solo travel is safe, but smart preparation makes it safer:

• Share your itinerary and cabin number with a trusted friend or family member at home
• Keep valuables in your cabin safe and don’t leave them unattended on deck
• Use the buddy system when exploring ports, even for a short time
• Stay aware of your surroundings, especially at night
• Keep your room key and ID with you at all times
• Attend the mandatory muster drill at the start of your cruise
• Trust your instincts — if something feels off, move away or notify crew

• Midship Locations: Less rocking motion and centrally located to most amenities
• Avoid: Cabins directly below nightclubs or above engine rooms (noise)

Every Disney ship welcomes solo guests, and none of them has a solo stateroom category — so pick on atmosphere and fare, not on solo accommodations:

• Magic, Wonder: the smallest and usually the cheapest ships in the fleet — the best value when you’re paying for a whole stateroom yourself, and intimate enough that you see the same faces all week
• Dream, Fantasy: larger, with more adult-exclusive space to spread out into
• Wish, Treasure, Destiny: the newest ships and the highest fares — the most expensive way to sail solo

Pro tip: Because you’re carrying the full stateroom cost, the ship and the season move your total far more than they would for a couple splitting the fare.
